Titles of works in English, please!

[edit]

The U.S.Library of Congress online catalog has at present 113 entries for Wassermann, Jakob. These include translations of his works into numerous languages, among them English. The page here would greatly benefit from an orderly, dated list of the author's works in English with their original titles indicated and translators' names noted. -- Deborahjay (talk) 06:49, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Interestingly, his last name (Wassermann) means "water-man" in German" : Shall we omit this piece of information, which casts no light on Wassermann's choice of Melusine as his subject, or (probably) on anything else in his life? 24.212.206.187 (talk) 16:50, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Altaussee is in Austria

[edit]

Wassermann died in Altaussee, a village in Austria, not in Germany. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altaussee
