Merger proposal

Jaffe, Jafee, Jaffee; Joffe, Jofee, Joffee; Yaffe, Yafee, Yaffee; Yaffa; and Jaffa (disambiguation) -- did I leave anything out? These are all transliterations of the same surname. There are currently multiple pages for this list. As you can see, some of them don't even exist, but easily could, as most of them have at least one biogrpahy whose surname matches that spelling.

I would like to merge the following existing articles into the Jaffe disambiguation article (which seems to be the most common spelling of the surname):

Jaffe
Jaffee
Joffe
Yaffa
Jaffa (disambiguation)

And create Yaffe as an additional redirect:

Yaffe (several bios with this surname spelling)
Jafee (ditto, plus a fair number of mentions in passing in other articles)

(Jofee has nothing, I just threw it up there for effect. Joffee/Yafee/Yaffe have a few passing mentions, don't know if we need them.)

The lede would say:

Oppose merging of Jaffa (disambiguation) to Jaffe. There seems to be enough meanings of "Jaffa" with consistent spelling to warrant a separate article. I don't think they could be misspellings of "Jaffe", the spelling "Jaffa" is intended. JIP | Talk 16:11, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
