Can't be bothered putting it in but the place is marked on Wikimapia. http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=26.808138&lon=93.986664&z=11&m=b&show=/25223654/ Coordinates: 26°51'0"N 94°9'8"E 86.6.25.38 (talk) 17:35, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The section heading In popular culture is used inappropriately; it would properly include references to the subject in works of literature, theater, film and television, etc. Rather, the content includes entire documentary films and a book based on the subject and his activities, so each medium deserves a separate section with its respective Level 2 heading. -- Deborahjay (talk) 09:48, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

No citation or proof for any of the things added in the "controversy" section. Interestingly, the text is word for word copied from the Facebook account of Modern Monk who has been claiming these things without any evidence Jajabor285 (talk) 01:47, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seems fair to remove Controversy section unless citations can be provided, no? User:Itshuman, who created Controvery section, may have a conflict of interest regarding this topic, according to their Talk page. FWIW, web searches (1 Aug 2019) revealed no information doubting the truthfulness of Payeng's story as published on Wikipedia (excluding present Controversy section). 67.241.129.130 (talk) 04:50, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the section. Until there is a verifiable or reputable source to support the claim, no point in keeping it here. Navjot Singh (talk) 17:08, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
