Talk:Jacome Gonsalves (1676-1742)
The article Giuseppe Moja has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No sources to support the weak assertions of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Victão Lopes I hear you... 02:43, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

This talk page is here, so we can contact you
[edit]Hi! I don't know if you realise that you had set a redirect on this page to point to an article talk page? (Talk:Peter Henrici). Please don't do this - it is very important that other Wikipedians can leave messages for you (such as the one above). It also means that comments directed to you end up on an article talk page, and it all becomes horribly confused. Please see WP:USERPAGE for a full description.
Normally I wouldn't overwrite anything you placed on a talk page, but in this case I felt that I should clean things up quickly. If you've got any questions on this please don't hesitate to contact me either here on my own talk page.

Some helpful hints while creating articles
[edit]Hi Ivo Coelho, Hope you are having a good time being a Wikipedian. While your articles have been good, some of your editing methods have been a cause of concern. Going through your contributions, it seems that you use your Userpage as a drafting board to write articles and then move them to the articlespace.:
This creates someproblems. When you move your draft article from your userpage to articlespace, a WP:REDIRECT is created from your userpage to the article page. Also, your talk page which is used by other wikipedians to communicate with you , also gets copied to the articles talk page. As a result, messages on your talk page get copied to the articles talk page; which shouldn't happen. And when anyone clicks on a link to your talk page, tehy are taken to the talk page of the last article you created.
There is an easy way to avoid this. You can create articles as a subpage of your user page and then move it to the article space. For instance: create a new article by typing New article on your user page. Save your user page. Then click on the link to start a new article. This way you have created a subpage and you have a link to it from your user page. Once you are done creating the article, you can WP:MOVE it to articlespace where it will become a part of Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Starting an article, Wikipedia:User pages and Wikipedia:Subpages for more details. Dont hesitate to ask for help on this page itself if you are confused :-). -Deepak D'Souza (talk) 11:21, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks very much. I hope things are better with the latest items I have contributed. Please don't hesitate to let me know. Ivo Coelho (talk) 03:22, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
sorry about the Jacome Gonsalves thing, which was, I guess, also redirected to Talk. The items done after that, I hope, did not cause such trouble. Still learning the ropes. Ivo Coelho (talk) 03:24, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
