[edit]

Thanks for the translation, Bakabaka. I was the one who requested it [1]. When I have some time I will try to write an article on Canada's War Crimes Program [2] [3].

By the way, it is incorrect to say that Luitjens was "extradited" to the Netherlands. There was no legal way to extradite him, because the particular crime he had been convicted of was not an extraditable offence under the extradition treaty between Canada and the Netherlands. If the nl wiki article uses the term "extradited" it should be edited. --Mathew5000 00:15, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No probs, Mathew, anytime. I did a more or less literal translation of the Dutch article, they indeed use the term 'uitleveren', which means as much as 'extradition' for afaik. I'm not that well-versed in legal terms, though, but I will add a comment about it to the Dutch talk page, linking this place. The peepz taking care of the Dutch Wiki can then fight over it themselves :) -- Bakabaka 00:22, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
