and was relieved to find that "trajo ropa de hombre espectaculas" doesn't refer to "carrying" a spectacular, uh, "male rope" but to wearing fancy threads, per Babel Fish:
- My uncle Eduardo was engaged in man clothes espectaculas already makes anios and I cannot find it but in Montreal.
It's off-topic, and i'm removing it to here to clarify that there's presumably no point in trying to get an encyclopedic translation.
