JAX beer
[edit]Anyone have any details on what happened to the beer after Jackson Brewery closed? I know the Pearl Brewing Company in San Antonio bought the name and formula, but what ever happened to it? --Brownings (talk) 02:26, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Pearl brewed beer labled as "Jax" at least in limited quantities for a while, but I haven't seen it since the early 1980s, and suspect they quit due to lack of demand. (Old Jax Beer signs at local bars are still not that uncommon, but none of the brew.) -- Infrogmation (talk) 03:22, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Coors bought the rights to the beer most recently. Pabst owned it for a while before being bought up.

[edit]The photograph included in this page is not of Jackson Brewery but of the Jackson Brewery Millhouse, an addition build in the 1980s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.228.144.177 (talk) 15:27, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
