Notability
[edit]What more needs to be done to meet WP:CORP? It has multiple secondary sources and over 34,000 Google entries. Since casino articles are generally notable this should be sufficient. Vegaswikian 08:17, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ghits do not necessarily indicate notability, particularly where a subject is susceptible to being listed in directories, like one of the cites in the article. In a perfect world, I'd like the article to have something going for it other than "general notability", so that WP doesn't become an indiscriminate directory of casinos, but I'm ok with this one. --Butseriouslyfolks 18:05, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Merging
[edit]There's no doubt that the two articles should be merged. They include much the same content. Commercial advertising should be eliminated in favor of basic information about facilities. BartBee 13:24, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Good idea to merge: no point in having both. Nyttend 15:43, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Wikiproject
[edit]- Somebody will have to explain how this rural Minnesota casino can be within the purview of a category about Nevada gambling. It's absurd on its face. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bartbee55057 (talk • contribs) 13:44, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm doing the assessments and fixing the project tag with a past that includes multiple project tags. Looks like I missed deleting one in this case. The fix was to add the missing one for Minnesota which no one had added. Any one can add the state project boxes to articles clearly of interest to each state.
