The Runaways Movie
[edit]IMDB's cast list suggests Jackie is not portrayed in the movie. Anyone know why ? RGCorris (talk) 16:54, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
She refused. The interview with the actress playing "her" implies that Fox did not want any scenes where her character was around sex, drugs or cursing. I added this to the article. DFS (talk) 07:23, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- She was also just one of several women who played bass for the band, although she was there the longest and was the most famous. Timothy Horrigan (talk) 00:34, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Harvard Law School
[edit]I removed the claim that Fox graduated from Harvard Law School in 1982, because that contradicts the claim that Barack Obama was one of her classmates there (which is sourced). Obama did not enroll in Harvard Law School until 1988, so he could not have been the classmate of someone who graduated in 1982. Presumably Fox attended HLS later than 1982. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 01:23, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, she was admitted to practice in California in July 1992 ([1]), which strongly suggests she took the February 1992 bar exam. I've not heard of her ever being admitted anywhere else. It would be pretty odd to graduate from law school in 1982 and then wait 10 years before being admitted. 1982 would also have her graduating from law school at age 22, which is pretty danged early. A typical non-stop education would be graduating high school age 18, undergrad age 22, law school age 25. I suspect her graduation date was 1992, typoed as "1982", but that's just a guess; I'm not suggesting a graduation date be added unless it's actually sourced.
- I also think that whether she attended the same time as Obama is pretty much trivia and ought not to be in the article. TJRC (talk) 20:09, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
