Jack the Ripper (1973 TV series) → Jack the Ripper (1973 miniseries) – Only six episodes, so a miniseries. 90.249.63.238 (talk) 15:39, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose and speedy close - this RM is either WP:POINT or WP:SOURGRAPES by IP editor at 90.246.x.x in apparent retaliation for the result of the RM discussion at Talk:Jack the Ripper (miniseries)#Requested move 22 March 2019. Not a WP:SNOWBALL's chance in hell this TV series can be considered a miniseries by any definition. Not one source cited mentions this as being a miniseries. -- Netoholic @ 23:23, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
- It is neither WP:POINT nor WP:SOURGRAPES. Why would it be? That literally makes no sense. I only just saw that this miniseries existed. Since they are both miniseries, both articles need the year in them. You obviously have no idea what a miniseries is, Netoholic. Very strange and aggressive behavior by someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. 90.249.63.238 (talk) 00:06, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- I just spent several hours adding 10 citations to this article, and reviewing probably 3 times that many in passing, and none of them describe it as a miniseries. -- Netoholic @ 00:32, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- I found many. Here's [1]. And regardless of that, all you have to know is what a miniseries is, to know that this is a miniseries. 90.249.63.238 (talk) 12:49, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose. A miniseries is generally shorter than six episode. Two to four at the most. The term "miniseries" is sometimes used in this way in America for a series of a defined length, but almost never in Britain. We call them TV series, whether they've got six episodes or sixty. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:31, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
