Being a U.S. government web site, and having no other copyright listings, and having a link to this statement, it can reasonably be assumed that this web page is in the public domain. McNeight 03:50, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry about that false copyvio tag. I did not see the public domain notice and will be much more careful before slapping down a copyvio next time. Hyenaste 04:13, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, copyvio's do happen. Thanks for the vigilance. McNeight 04:36, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was a classmate of Ridley in high school, Sulphur OK and later graduated from OU in 1940. I do not believe that he graduated from OU, or even attended. I would suggest a recheck of this information. Orville C. Rogers Orogersjp (talk) 21:20, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Numerous online sources are all in agreement that Ridley received a BS in Engineering from OU in 1939, including one with a bibliography from the Oklahoma Historical Society archived at Oklahoma State's web site here. There were almost 7,000 students at OU in 1939 so it wouldn't have been impossible for you to have missed him, especially if you were not in ROTC or taking classes in the college of engineering.SEWalk (talk) 06:31, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
