[edit]This article is inappropriate in its current form. ( See wp:oneevent ) Either other information must be added that makes him notable, or it should be deleted. If being married and having a kid made someone notable, we'd all have an article. If nobody adds additional information showing that Jack Ohle is notable outside of this controversy, then I will re-add the afd tag. Leafyplant 20:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, the article is inappropriate. There may be some notability, but the article is only about a recent controversy - clearly a violation of WP:NPOV. snigbrook (talk) 20:59, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- Its current form is problematic because of how it started. But Ohle clearly meets WP:ACADEMIC (point 6) - which is why I spun if off, rather than deleting the material - and I'm sure a reasonable bio is possible. That may involve a lot of editing, including cutting. Disembrangler (talk) 21:07, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
The article is coming along nicely. There are 175 other articles about college / university presidents, so university presidents must be inherently notable. Leafyplant 23:19, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
I believe that the subject is notable but suffers WP:NPOV issues (even if I happen to agree with the apparent point of view). Tagging to check NPOV. 65.121.0.98 (talk) 23:20, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
