To 203.218.214.74: Your Merton Beckwith-Smith entry - tread carefully, beware of possible copyright infringement backlash. [1] The original wordings were crafted in such a way so that there was no copyright infringement issues.Wilfred Pau 02:21, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

very nice indeed very nice excellent work! jack would have thought likewise! oh another thing, please register, this is such a poor way to chat. :P GB Wilfred Pau 22:52, 28 August 2006 (UTC) you must have the book! my friend tells me he had his signed by jack many years ago.Wilfred Pau 22:59, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Wilfred - sorry about not signing in, I sometimes forget! I had the pleasure/honor of meeting Jack Edwards at the Royal British office near the Hong Kong library last year and we chatted for about an hour (where I remember him telling me that he was made a US Marine after recounting his rescue by the Marines to a visiting Marine Drill platoon - he had a picture with the them in his office). It was an amazing experience, and I will sorely miss him. He was also very kind and signed my copy of his book with the words "None of us should Forget!", the closing words of his book. Very powerful words, and hopefully none of us will. Thanks for the comments! PS. Prior to this wiki page I had made another "Jack Edwards" wiki with the title as "Jack Edwards (O.B.E. M.B.E.)" which had essentially the same information as this one. The other page should be deleted as they are duplicates but I am not particularly sure how to do it. Thanks for doing this page, I'm sure Jack would have appreciated it! Dagayute
Jack Edward's book
[edit]To:193.122.27.36 Don't add "Bad word" after a book citation. "Banzai You Bastards" is the name of Jack Edward's book. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.226.239.201 (talk • contribs) 08:43, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
