The Southend store according to the evidence of the SEAX records was originally at Nelson Road, which had been the original High Street in Southend (the Clifftown development). They moved to 90 High Street sometime in the 1930s, as from 1900 this location had been home to Percy Raven, who at some point moved to the London Road after 1928 (Britain from Above shows that the store had not yet been built, and the architecture of the building which now hosts Nandos and TSB is 1930s in appearance though greatly altered).
