Noteworthiness

[edit]

What's it going to take to prove that the standard java decompiler is "noteworthy"? It's certainly more noteworthy than 98% of the stuff on wikipedia. Go check any major java site (IBM developer works, Sun, online sites, whatever) and you'll see it referenced time and time again. 76.68.27.113 (talk) 19:03, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JAD a simple tool used in a limited number of circumstances, and never independently of some larger toolset. It's not worthy of its own entry. Also, Wikipedia requires reputable third party sources for information on a topic. I can't find such a source to explain what JAD is, where it comes from, what situations its used in, what is its relevance, etc. Not every program gets its own page on Wikipedia. Because of these things, I've nominated the article for deletion. Lousyd (talk) 17:43, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

JAD or Jad?

[edit]

It is JAD or Jad? Currently this article uses both. --Mortense (talk) 19:21, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Author only called it "Jad" so I think it's reasonable to rename this article. --Franklin Yu (talk) 21:37, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Java not JAva

[edit]

The title of the article is capitalized incorrectly. Is there any way to change that? Inside the article it is written as Java. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirbyqwerty12 (talkcontribs) 15:39, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's titled correctly. The 'A' is capitalized to emphasis that it is part of the acronym of 'JAD'. Rurik (talk) 20:34, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
