Fire Island
[edit]Unless there is a Fire Island, Jamaica, then Ross' death there would seem to contradict the idea that he seldom left Jamaica in his later years. Also, in absence of any other data, although there are quite a few "Fire Islands" in the world, the "default" setting, at least for most North Americans, is probably the famous gay resort- and beach-retreat area off of Long Island, New York.
