Hi @Slp1:, responding to your revert of my minor edit. I unlinked "New Zealand" as a nationality in the first sentence of the lead as it doesn't add anything and it looks untidy. In fact, as per 1.2.2 of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking, it's deemed inappropriate in the situation of widely known nationalities and countries. As per my understanding of those guidelines, I only really permit it in the case of obscure countries (e.g. Benin or Palau) or where the link clarifies the nationality in instances where it could commonly be confused (e.g. Republic of the Congo vs. Democratic Republic of the Congo). I have no problem with Wellington, New Zealand being linked at the start of the first section, because it's far less prominent to international audiences and linking it makes sense. Using examples of high standard New Zealand bios like Edgar Kain, Dave Gallaher or Alfred Shout (all featured articles) or high profile NZ bios with years of constructive editing, such as John Key or Peter Jackson, we see that the highest standard is not to link this within the first sentence.
