Julia Bathory was a very important figure in Hungarian Applied arts. She is without doubt one of the most important figures in Hungarian glass art along with Miksa Roth. She had an exeptional international career, and a crucial part in the development in Hungarian appied arts. She was an internationally known Hungarian female artist from the Art Deco period. Her contribution to the technology of glass art infuenced studio glass as a whole. Therefore she is not only important in a Hungarian context, but also in an international scale. The bibliography cited also suggests this, and this article is worth keeping. I also would like to attache here the article from the Hungarian wikipedia, wich contains the same facts mentioned here.
