- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

This has to be one of the worst articles I've ever come across on Wikipedia. I know nothing about J'Leon Love. I just stumbled upon this by chance. However, there is a bunch of stuff here that has the same reference, which is from an interview with Love himself. As an example we have to take Love at his word regarding his amateur record, only that whoever wrote this article, and got it locked, spiced it up quite a bit. According to the source referenced here Loves rec should be 100-ish - 10-ish. This whole article is just way below the standard I expect from Wikipedia. Also 5'10 is about 1.77 meters. Not 2 meters. 2 meters is more like 6'6 for fucks sake! What the hell are you bozos supervising the articles doing? I don't know if it's Mr Love himself who's behind this but it sure seems to be written by someone who maybe had a few to many punches to the head. 98.128.200.124 (talk) 21:53, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

- Yes it is very clear.I gave you two examples of what is clearly wrong and suggested most of the article lack reliable source. If that is not clear enough, tell me what you do around here and I'll show you how to do it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.128.200.124 (talk) 22:30, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- Note: Provide the actual prose you'd like, with the sourcing. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:02, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- So you need me to provide evidence that there are 3.28 ft in a meter and that the article in question is referring to sources that a, does not exist, and b, are misquoted. I'm not going to re-write this ridiculous article just because you're too lazy and/or ignorant. How about you taking a look at it for yourself? What is your function here? I suppose if anyone would edit the articles on the metric system with absolute nonsense you'd be fine with if as long as they followed the right procedures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.128.200.124 (talk) 00:19, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- My function is as a volunteer, much the same as everyone else. You expect others to rewrite the article, but find that task to be below you? ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:47, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- If you read what I said initially you would know that I know nothing of J'Leon Love. I shouldn't be writing this article. Unlike yourself, I don't know how you write articles on Wikipedia to begin with. I am pointing out that the sources referenced are missing and/or not correct. Basic conversions from ft to meters are also incorrect. As a regular person, I pointed out facts and misstakes. You, as I heavily involved volunteer, enforce compliance before truth. That's the kind of person you are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.128.200.124 (talk) 08:54, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- Talk pages and edit requests are for discussing improvements to articles, not just generally complaining about them. Unless you have verbatim edits that you would like made, don't make an edit request as it won't be accepted. Let's also keep the personal attacks out of this and focus on the article content, and make sure to sign all your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 04:22, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- I get it. Compliance before truth. That is how you ensure the information posted here is factual and correct. My apologies. Great work guys. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.128.200.124 (talk) 08:54, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Not done:
- Most Wikipedia editors, including me and, I presume, ScottishFinnishRadish, don't know much about the topics we write about either. We simply help put together what reliable sources say about a subject. You don't need to know about a subject to write an article about it – in fact, the less you know beforehand, the better, because you can prove where you learned every bit of information.
- Your comments about
compliance before truth
stick out to me – care to elaborate? In my eyes, policies and guidelines on Wikipedia exist for a reason, and following them is how we ensure accuracy, etc., meaning that compliance and truth go hand-in-hand. - Edit requests are for specific verbatim changes. Your request still cannot and will not be accepted if you don't provide those for yourself in a "change X to Y" format.
- The conversions from feet to meters are automatic and rounded, resulting in somewhat less precision.
- Your passive-aggressive sarcasm isn't really appreciated to be quite honest. If you simply don't feel like fixing these issues for yourself, no one else will want to do it for you. We all volunteer our time here and aren't obligated to do anything.
- Please start signing your comments by adding four tildes (~~~~) to the end.
Please stop reopening this edit request until you understand what it's for. Thanks! Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 13:36, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Partly done: By the way, looks like ScottishFinnishRadish updated the conversion precision. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 14:04, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
