Objection to deletion

[edit]

Winning the JWOC means competing at the highest level and therefore qualifies WP:ATHLETE, the PROD also does not make sence. JWOC is the Highest Junior competition in the Orienteering world. ARBAY (talk) 12:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

But as the World Orienteering Championships are higher, it may unfortunately fail policy. The policy is unreasonable im my opinion but unfortunately it does exist. Anonymous101 (talk) 13:08, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Based on the references provided since my deletion proposal, it seems Ivan is notable on general grounds, if not WP:ATHLETE. I'm satisfied as to his notability. G'job! RayAYang (talk) 16:46, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
