Names and spellings
[edit]The following is a list of some of the names and spellings he has been referred to as in the Western world:
- Ivaylo Marinov - Bulgarian Olympic Committee (also uses Ivailo[1])
- Ismail Mustafov - Olympic.org '80 Olympics
- Ivailo Marinov Khristov - Olympic.org '88 Olympics
- Ismail Mustafow - European Amateur Boxing 1981, 1983
- Iwajło Marinow - European Amateur Boxing 1989, 1991
- Ismail Hjuseinov - ESPN '80 Olympics
- Ivailo Hristov - ESPN '88 Olympics
I made Marinov the main article as it is part of the name that won the '88 Gold Medal and the Khristov portion seems to have been dropped since then. The Bulgarian press only seems to use Marinov.
