- No DABs or overlinking.
- You refer to the 1938 Naval Expansion Program, but never mention it in the main body.
- Added
- Oil-fired or coal-fired?
- Added, and I'll add it to the other 3
- There's nothing to show that 50-caliber relates to /50 in the designations.
- Navweaps (and presumably Campbell, but I don't have that handy at the moment) gives a barrel length of 50 calibers
- No, I understand that, but I'm not sure that a uninitiated reader will understand that /50 means 50 caliber length. That's why I prefer not to use that format and actually spell out the caliber.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:40, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, I misunderstood your comment - I thought you were questioning the expansion of /50 in the 38cm gun title to 50-caliber. Fixed now. Parsecboy (talk) 15:44, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

- to escorts for merchant convoys, which were desperately needed. Suggest moving the last clause in front of "escorts".
- Ok.
- How can a ship be beached and moored simultaneously?
- The moored bit was left over from the old version - I apparently missed deleting it when I rewrote it.
- Images appropriately licensed.
- Adding |lastauthoramp=1 to your book cites will get you ampersands there to match your footnotes.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 02:50, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- Good idea. Thanks for the review, Sturm. Parsecboy (talk) 12:04, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
