Why? I've just shown the American version is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, by a lot. And there are no other articles with this title – there is no reason not to put the U.S. article at the base title. (Note: I'm OK with moving the Canadian series to It's a Living (Canadian TV series). But the U.S. title belongs at the base title, as per PRIMARYTOPIC.) --IJBall (contribs • talk) 22:00, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Just to be clear, your pageview stats aren't providing an accurate comparison — it's using a redirect, not the actual page title, of the 1998/Canadian series. So it's not counting all pageviews on that series, but only the ones that two-stepped their way through one particular redirect. It's missing anybody who used the "Canadian" redirect instead, and it's missing anybody who bypassed the redirects and went directly to the actual page title in one step. That's why you haven't proven primary topic yet: you're giving us an apples-to-redirect comparison, not an apples-to-apples one. Bearcat (talk) 03:54, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support as proposed, since the 1980 series gets over 98% of total views over a 3-year period, with the previous title of the Canadian series included. I'd ask Bearcat to reconsider based upon this data. Dekimasuよ!16:55, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Reconsider what? I didn't express any opinion either way, I just pointed out a problem with the data sets that were being compared. Bearcat (talk) 17:09, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
