The paragraph on Lennon's criticism is pretty ridiculous, considering Keef was citing that as an example of JL's bastardry and his method of disarming it by being humble, hence "Yeah, John, it wasn't one of my best." It's not surprising he said it, he said it 'cos what else do you say to somebody who's that narcissistic?
