Copied text
[edit]The general, unfootnoted text that this article keeps being replaced with is a copyvio; it can be found in the cited newspaper article about the 2014 festival and also here on Facebook. Yngvadottir (talk) 15:35, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
Promotion reverted
[edit]I've reverted all of todays edits by IP 212, because they were generally very promotional and, secondly, left the article formatting in a mess. To be honest, it sounded like something that had been copied word-for-word from somewhere. IP 212 may have found some additional okay magazine sources but I'd advisethem to word things more neutrally in future and preview their changes before saving them. - It looks like IP 212 was trying to use these 2014 magazine sources in Blouin Artinfo, Whitewall magazine and W magazine. I'd point out that W Magazine is one of the collaborators of Istancool, so should be treated with caution. Sionk (talk) 13:48, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, they were using the same copyrighted press-release text that I referred to in the above section, but this time tried to work it in, with wikilinks and keeping some of the history material. I don't know why the insistence on using this press release; I've considered semi-protecting the article, but this attempt was better. Thanks for reverting.
