[edit]Something is fishy here. It this really a technical term? I cut this article out of issue. The current text was created by an anon in 2003 and strikes me as a pretty naive one. mikka (t) 19:23, 20 July 2005 (UTC)
- The term "issue" has a special meaning in computer science. Kslotte (talk) 11:25, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
I think it's strange about this article, "issue" is a normal English word, I don't think it has specific meaning in computers field.
"issue" can mean concern or problem.
Merging
[edit]- I support a merging with Issue management. --Kslotte (talk) 14:40, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure this should be merged with Issue management but I'm thinking this should probably still be merged somewhere. The Severity levels section seems more Bugzilla-like but "issues" aren't always "bugs". All of the articles listed in the See also section (Issue management, Bug tracking system, Issue tracking system) are related to the same overall subject of Software project management so perhaps it's worth considering merging and expanding many of these into a more comprehensive article? --Tothwolf (talk) 23:55, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Tthwolf, I agree, merging into Software project management makes more sense. PhilKnight (talk) 13:41, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Merge completed per above. Jeepday (talk) 23:13, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
