Maktoum
[edit]In the references Maktoum is mentioned they are the royal family in Dubai not Abu Dahbi . So maybe another reference could be used because to be associated with any of this torture in any way would be wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by User:N8Riley (talk • contribs) 00:39, May 24, 2009
- I've removed two uncited paragraphs which mentioned Maktoum, see below, but did not see Maktoum in the references.84user (talk) 04:24, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
uncited stuff removed
[edit]I have removed uncited stuff added to section "Abu Dhabi probe into allegations" by Radopraha; see WP:RS and WP:Verifiability. Please feel free to reinsert together with inline citations from reliable sources. 84user (talk) 04:24, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
The lead is wrong
[edit]Per WP:LEAD the lead section of an article should provide an overview of the article. The lead in this article absolutely fails to do that. The entire article is about torture incidents, and that is nowhere mentioned in the lead. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:59, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. Hence I have adjusted it to also include the torture case as well as added more refs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fragma08 (talk • contribs) 20:11, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Did the victim survive?
[edit]Being run over? Set alight? Did he survive all this? Assuming he did (since it wasn't a murder trial) - what happened to the victim afterwards? Presumably this left him hospitalised?
