Central Meridian Through Jerusalem
[edit]I'm not a scholar in this subject but it seems there may be a mistake here. It says that in the new system as welll as the old system the central meridian crosses through jerusalem... i'm assuming central meridian is the same as prime meridian.. in which case it's not possible for the meridian to cross through jerusalem and yet have all the country with a positive longitude... i also see no mention of this on the hebrew wikipedia.... fyi..--Roxette5 (talk) 11:21, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- The central medidian is the meridian of least distortion in the projection. It doesn't define the numbers in the coordinates. Zerotalk 08:36, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
