The statement that Israeli Canadians are a visible minority is not correct, and I am changing the article accordingly.
Statistics Canada does clarify who is (and is not) included in the category "West Asians," as the term is defined by Statistics Canada. "West Asians", in turn, are one of the groups comprising visible minorities.
Statistics Canada states West Asians include "Persons who were born in Israel and whose religion was not Jewish [emphasis in original]." (Source: Collecting Census Data of Canada's Visible Minority Population" A Historical Perspective, by Karen Kelly, Statistics Canada, 1995, Table 9 on p. 21.)
