  • The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for one several times : Israel Beck was appointed Knight of the Order of Leopold II, by King Baudouin of Belgium. hello @Piotrus: thank you for your comment yes of course newspaper articles have been published. I know where to look, will need to go to the library and find archived copies of newspapers from the 50s and 60s (unfortunately Google cannot index such old hardcopy newspapers and magazines).
