Isoprenaline is the INN name for this drug. Isopreoterenol should direct to Isoprenaline, not vice versa... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Waster (talk • contribs) 15:33, 1 April 2007 (UTC).

I've never heard of salbutamol/albuterol being used to treat heart block. Is there a reference for this?
One reference for isoproterenol for heart block treatment is in Cecil Medicine 23rd ed. chapter 63. It says "Acute management of symptomatic SND and second- and third-degree AV block includes administration of intravenous atropine (1 mg) or isoproterenol (usually 1 to 2 μg/min infusion) to increase the heart rate." Use in the television drama Emergency!
In the old TV drama Emergency! from the 1970's, isoproterenol is given regularly to people in IVs to keep the heart rhythm steady. I don't know if this is factual medical treatment from the 1970s era or whether or not it even matters to the article, so I'm mentioning it here. 195.229.25.146 01:32, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
