It now seems that some of references have been altered and now indicate that none of the matches will have T20I status. Will keep an eye on it. Bs1jac (talk) 17:57, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There are conflicting reports, but it currently seems that one match will be a T20I. Of course this might change (maybe all or none will be T20I), and the tour may not even happen due to funding of COVID, but let's keep the page for now. Bs1jac (talk) 21:56, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Bs1jac: Shouldnt it be Manx cricket team? I dont know how the denonyms work in the British Isles. Since you are a resident you might know better. Human (talk) 09:57, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@A Simple Human: Manx is technically correct, but I felt it might not be clear in this instance. Happy to change it if User:Lugnuts thinks it should. To be honest I dont really like the denonyms in these titles ('a Manx team' could be any team from the IoM, 'The IoM team' is more accurate... but yeah I know that's how we most often do it) Bs1jac (talk) 10:03, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Lugnuts: The Hong Kong and New Zealand one seems odd as they only add 'er' to the end. But IoM has a specific denonym of Manx in this case. Human (talk) 10:56, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Lugnuts: Hi there; sorry for the ping... This is a slightly unusual case in that it is a three-match series in which only the first match has official T20I status (the other matches will be used by both associations to try out different players). Given that we have an article, we may as well cover the tour in as much detail as possible, and I think it makes sense to display it as a three-match series (as that's what it is), rather than split it into a one-match T20I series and a two-match 'unofficial T20' series as someone attempted earlier. Just asking for your opinion because there are a certain people who are not so great where an 'exception to the usual' can be beneficial, and am hoping to agree the right format ahead of any queries. For the record, I have created a heading 'T20 series', and then subheadings for 1st, 2nd and 3rd T20, with the first actually labelled as '1st T20 (only T20I)'; I have also added a note into the infobox into which we can add the actual series result to supplement the infobox which (under 'Twenty20 International Series') will say "XXX won the 1-match series 1–0".
