Legend?
[edit]This article calls the story of Marguerite de la Rocque a legend, while her article presents it as more or less factual. Seems to me like these should be reconciled. M-1 (talk) 01:55, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
I'm confused...
[edit]I came here from the article on Phantom Islands, which gives the Isle of Demons as an example of an island that was once thought to exist, and was shown on maps, but was later proven to be non-existent. This article says it was a "mythical land on Quirpon Island", yet the Isle of Demons was suppose to BE an island. Is it trying to say that Quirpon Island was once considered to be inhabited by demons, and was called "Isle of Demons"? Or that the Isle that was shown on the maps doesn't exist where it was shown, and the closest guess that they can come up with is that they were referring to what is now known as Quirpon Island? It doesn't make it at all clear.
I also agree with the above poster; the article on Marguerite de Roche speaks of her as a 100% real person, who was in fact marooned on the Isle of Demons. It makes no mention of Quirpon Island anywhere, nor does it even hint that the Island is now considered a mythical place. There should be more consistency between articles..45Colt 07:31, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
