Cleanup needed
[edit]Remove several extern inline links, remove multiple links to the same article, remove bolded repetings of the articles name, fix formation of references and so on. --Matthiasb (talk) 19:00, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
The island6 page should not be merged with the Liu Dao page because island6 refers to the physical space of the Arts Center whereas Liu Dao refers to the art collective represented by the island6 Arts Center. Liu Dao are the artists that are also exhibited elsewhere in the world. And not everyone who exhibits at island6 Arts Center are part of Liu Dao. --Poppy Hoh 15:54, 29 November 2012
I disagree, upon recently visiting the gallery I have found that Island6 is the gallery itself whereas Liu Dao are the artist collective that exhibit their work there.Surrealist23 (talk) 06:47, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
Removal of tag
[edit]I've gone ahead and removed a peacock tag (dated 2013) at the top of the page. I found no evidence in the article of proclamations about a subject's importance. Coldcreation (talk) 07:01, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- The removal of the peacock tag might have been a bit hasty, the article could use a good NPOV copy edit for stuff like "Their partnership was fruitful", "ethereal", "its inexhaustible dynamic", "ideal additions to international fashion houses", etc... Vrac (talk) 16:10, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
- Those words can easily be removed. Good catch. Coldcreation (talk) 18:48, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
Thomas Charvériat
[edit]In 2015 the article Thomas Charvériat was redirected to the Island6 article under the grounds the sources did not meet the requirements for being independent, reliable, per WP:RS. Since then, close to 20 independent, reliable sources have been produced. I propose splitting Thomas Charvériat back out into its own article. I've worked on a new version which includes the sources. Certainly, more work needs to be done on the article, i.e., it's not yet perfect yet, but at least the citations are reliable, satisfying the guidelines for WP:artist. Any comments for improvement would be welcome. Coldcreation (talk) 23:45, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
