Architect
[edit]In the Western tradition, architects are generally credited. A meaningful omission? --Wetman (talk) 21:52, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Focus
[edit]This article seems to stray away from it's intended purpose. The article concerns itself with talking about controversial imams in relation to anti-semitism and other recent current events like 9/11. I thought the point of this article was to talk about the actual mosque. It seems like a major portion of the page is dedicated towards people in particular and not the actual edifice. Wouldn't it be better if users could add additional helpful info about the actual building? Or perhaps adding more photography with the exterior and interior parts of the mosque? - User:Tockerr —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tockerr (talk • contribs) 22:33, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- As it happens, the one photo is mine; perhaps I'll return this summer to take another but a picture from a better photographer would be appreciated. Additional WP:CITEd information on the site's architecture and the activities within would also be welcome. Specifically on architecture, the statement about the building's alignment being offset by 29 degrees from the local east-west street grid is confusing, since the local street grid according to Manhattanhenge does not actually run east-west but is offset by 29 degrees. Cany anyone clarify? Jim.henderson (talk) 17:43, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Representation section neutrality
[edit]The reputation section makes some rather significant claims, cites no evidence, and sounds like a statement of praise rather than an encyclopedic entry. Specifically phrases such as "a huge turning point" and "None were like The Islamic Cultural Center" are non-neutral. 2601:645:8400:33D0:0:0:0:CBF3 (talk) 05:50, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
