IMO, although I have done some vigorous editing, this stub still is in several respects unsatisfactory. It should be merged with Cookiecutter shark which is far more satisfactory. If it depended on me, I should change this page to tidy it up and to incorporate the content Cookiecutter shark, and turn that page to point to this Genus-named page. But to have both articles instead of one plus a redirection, is not practical either for users or editors. JonRichfield (talk) 13:34, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this should be merged. The head of the other article, specifically about cookiecutter sharks, says to see this article for information about 'other cookiecutter sharks', which is somewhat redundant. Also, the shark article links to this article, but the text of the link refers to the other article.--Jeffro77 (talk) 07:01, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
