Isenheim
[edit]The article should state where Isenheim is. Badagnani 01:57, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Panels in wrong order
[edit]Saint Sebastian should be on the left, and Saint Anthony on the right, as pictured here: http://images.encarta.msn.com/xrefmedia/sharemed/targets/images/pho/t014/T014894A.jpg
Year of completion
[edit]Was it verifiably completed in 1515 or 1516? Badagnani 03:34, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- At the moment I could reference both dates to very respectable sources. Research continues, but 1516 has the edge. Johnbod 13:29, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Why does the article still not mention the city of Issenheim? Badagnani 03:35, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
oops. this is work in progress. Johnbod 13:30, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Should redirect from Isenheimer Altar
[edit]Isenheimer Altar is what it is called in German, the language of Isenheim at the time of its creation and the language of Grünewald, the artist. It is the name that is most commonly used. ---Dagme (talk) 01:10, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
- ... in German, yes. I don't think you've got the hang of WP:COMMONNAME. Johnbod (talk) 01:21, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
