Is she actually biologically Richard's child?

[edit]

Is there any stated proof that Isabelle is actually Richard's child? Racially, there would appear to be evidence for it, but technically Lilly and Richard met after first quarentine, after Lilly was already impregnated. Was there ever a paternity test done? If there was no stated confirmation of paternity, the sentance concerning Isabelle's parentage is missleading and needs to be changed. +Bozaloshtsh 09:32, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's not misleading as she her self refers to him as her dad, until prooven otherwise; She is his daughter. thanks/MatthewFenton (talkcontribs) 09:37, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Forgive me for persisting, but isn't that illogical when faced with the hopes of keeping the biography accurate? At the 4400 Wiki, which is part of the greater MediaWiki project, their version of her origin runs somewhat differently, stating instead that the "presumed father has always been Richard, although this has never been officially confirmed and the two parents did not recognize each other when they returned (even though they shared a connection that led to love)." This isn't much of an alteration, and unless there is grave objection to it, I see no reason not to make it, and will be more than happy to do so myself. +Bozaloshtsh 10:02, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Your my daughters" - Richard, "Daddy" - Isabelle; Until its prooven biologicly that thre not, as Lily and Isabelle consider Isabelle to be Richards daughter then she is. thanks/MatthewFenton (talkcontribs) 10:09, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not saying she's not Richard's daughter, I'm saying that her origins were made purposefully mysterious and it would be short-sighted not to take note of that, considering. +Bozaloshtsh 10:25, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Look now, I've added a note. thanks/MatthewFenton (talkcontribs) 10:32, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, she is Richard's biological child. In the episodes surrounding "One of Us" in Season 4, when Tom Baldwin's mind is being corrupted by an agent of the future, we see "flashbacks {forwards?}" to when Lily and Richard's bodies are in an operating room and a genetic transfer appears to take place. This is based on clues in the scenes, there is no overt wording to this effect. Taking a totality of everything presented throughout the series, and this new evidence, one can now safely say that Isabelle is Richard's genetic offspring. Richard and Lily still never met in the future, since there was some form of sedation on the two of them. Yendor 05:21, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
