The Lakers agreed in principle to a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers on June 20, 2018. The Lakers would acquire the 39th pick of the 2018 draft in exchange for a 2019 second round pick and cash considerations. However, because the 76ers had received their maximum allotment of cash for the 2017-2018 season, the trade cannot be recorded until the new NBA league year commences on July 6, 2018, allowing the cash transaction portion of the trade to be completed. So technically, Isaac Bonga was drafted by the 76ers in the 2018 NBA Draft and will remain a 76er until July 6, 2018 when he officially becomes a Los Angeles Laker.
I'm not sure a Tweet is an acceptable source of reference, but here is a tweet from Bobby Marks, an ESPN NBA Reporter, explaining the details of this transaction. [1]
I apologize for not directly correcting the article, but I have forgotten the technical aspects of editing in Wikipedia and I didn't have the time to give myself a refresher course. A correction and some better references (besides Twitter) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

People of the project, what are you doing? I mean, Isaac's the goat. But in all seriousness, you really have to step up combatting vandalisism. DerpieDerpie:D00:18, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
