GA Reassessment

The article is not sourced well enough to be a good article. There are 14 inline citations but they are from a lower number of sources. Also, the neutrality is not of a good article. The article somewhat dramatizes the subject's exploits and uses vague language. It is somewhat promotional. Delist. --Mr. Guye (talk) 21:44, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: First, the purpose of GAR is not to delist Good Articles, but to highlight problems with a view to fixing them, and only if they are not fixed, will the article be delisted. Second, sourcing is not determined by the number of individual sources, but by their quality. And in this case, the sourcing is more than adequate. Third, on the neutral tone, bear in mind that an article has to be somewhat dramatic, else no-one is going to read it. A plain dry listing of facts and dates is precisely what makes history "boring". As long as the "dramatization" does not impact the accuracy and neutrality of the subject, it is useful. Finally, your complaint is too vague. Please give concrete instances where you believe the article to be using either a promotional tone or vague language so that they can be checked and eventually fixed by me and other editors.
