Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because it is not "substantially identical to the deleted version" (CSD G4, as claimed). On the contrary, it is far shorter, yet has infinitely more third-party references, at least one of which makes a claim to notability; possibly because I took pains to emphasize to editors who reached out to me for advice that these things were a concern and a basis for the original deletion. --GreenReaper (talk) 03:36, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- I've put this in the article, but it's relevant here, too: way back in 2002, Ironclaw was already the most popular furry RPG as determined by Flayrah readers (I run Flayrah, but the poll pre-dates my editorship), beating out e.g. World Tree; this matches my more personal perception from more modern times and correlates with the existence of spin-off Jadeclaw and later revised editions. While I love World Tree's setting, Ironclaw got more play then and now; indeed, there were four separate three-hour play sessions scheduled to run at Midwest FurFest only last year; by comparison, Albedo: Platinum Catalyst (based on Albedo) had three. This page should not be speedily deleted because... Have updated the article with citations. --Sanguine Games (talk) 04:12, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
I apologize that the page seems to be too similar. I was aiming to add appropriate links to third party references and reactions to the subject matter to verify notability, as per WP:GNG. Can you clarify on what would improve the notability links? --RiotGearEpsilon (talk) 04:17, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
