Story

[edit]

I decided to write a short blurb of the story based on what could be gleaned from the production's youtube channel. It could be merged with the 'Premise' section as well. I tried to be as spoiler-free as possible, just outlining whatever is already known about the story. Any corrections are welcome. The Singularity (talk) 14:31, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

does not seem to be out yet

[edit]

According to IMDb there was to be a Gala Screening in Finland on 14 Feb 2018 before a screening at the Berlin International Film Festival, which I assume is Germany. General release date in Finland 22 Aug 2018. The date for the BIFF is 15-25 Feb 2018. My search of the BIFF English language website programme 8:30 EST 18 Feb 2018 had no hits for "Iron Sky" or "The Coming Race". -- Naaman Brown (talk) 01:56, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agartha reference

[edit]

It is quite believable that the "center of the earth city" reference to Agartha is in fact a reference to the following: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agartha — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8802:4300:231:9B9:9EA0:D3E8:8345 (talk) 17:52, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suspicious edits by IP address

[edit]

This page and the main Iron Sky page have received an edit stating that the US Copyright Office gave the copyright to VFX artists. These edits come from the same Finnish IP address, and are evidently made to further the ongoing legal dispute that the claimant has against the film producers. @Kash Lumao and Trevityger: Please discuss here.
I shhould point out that the article had duplicated content due to multiple undos of the same edit (!) (might be a bug). I restored an older version to bypass the tangle of back-and-forth changes. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 23:40, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
One of the parties is pushing his legal agenda here, writing his own interpretation of the events. The section "Aftermath and future of the franchise" is a one-sided exposition of Trevytiger's theories. Wikipedia shouldn't be used to serve a personal vendetta against a film producer. There have been more edits from 84.249.62.194 trying to revert changes to the suspicious edits that provide a one-sided version of events. It's important to stress that he keeps using his own Facebook and Reddit posts as evidence of the facts. Reddit and Facebook are not reliable sources, specially when they are written by the same person making the edits. Useofweapons1 (talk) 09:57, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
