I agree.

Good reference -- if there is ever an article in which to use it (e.g. in a footnote)

[edit]

There is a web page at http://www.airbus.com/innovation/proven-concepts/in-design/iron-bird/ that has a lot of helpful information about one of the possible meanings of the term Iron Bird.

This URL could prove useful in the future, if / when there is a wikipedia article about that use of the term. Currently (June 2015) that use of the term is listed in the third entry of this disambig (disambiguation) page -- as "a type of aircraft test rig used in the development and testing of designs for a [new] aircraft".

I do not have time to create a new article now, (for that meaning of the term "Iron Bird"). Also, there might be some question about whether such an article would be encyclopedic enough -- whether the meaning of the term is an idea that is notable enough, etc. However, if / when someone does start a wikipedia article about that, then this URL could prove useful. The web page it points to is a reliable source, and contains a lot of information. --Mike Schwartz (talk) 01:13, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
