[edit]This article really needs to be merged with Irish Republicanism. For some reason that article only talks about the history of the republican movement in the 26 counties and than lists the names of the political parties who support a united republic on both sides of the border. I dont think that republicans draw a distinction between north and south, so one really does not need to be drawn in the article!
Sources
[edit]This article needs reliable neutral sources otherwise i'm going to propose it for deletion. Mabuska (talk) 11:47, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- In fact as the article has NO sources seeing as the link provided is dead this article is virtually personal research and i am proposing it for deletion as no effort has been made to clean it up. Mabuska (talk) 12:25, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Article proposed for deletion
[edit]Unfortunately i've had to propose this article for deletion on various grounds such as no citations, sources, poor prose, bad grammer and layout, potential POV and subversive wording. There is even no need for this article as most of the topics have their own articles. Mabuska (talk) 12:37, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- This is pretty obviously not an uncontroversial candidate for deletion, as required for the WP:PROD process, so if you think this should be deleted please start a discussion at WP:AFD so that a consensus can be reached. Phil Bridger (talk) 19:45, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- Done, and the main editors i can find in the history have been informed such as Superfopp and Exiledone etc. Mabuska (talk) 12:27, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
Update?
[edit]Today Her Majesty's Government has published the fact the threat level to Great Britain from Irish related terrorism has risen from moderate to substantial. This is clearly related to Irish republicanism in Northern Ireland. Should the article make note of this? BritishWatcher (talk) 15:37, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
- WP:Recentism. Let's wait a while and see whether publication of the fact has any long-term significance. Scolaire (talk) 23:28, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
Lead is too choppy
[edit]The lead needs to be improved as the opening sentencces are very choppy and staccato. I found a few typos (which have been corrected) as well in the first section, so the entire article should be double-checked for possibly more.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 09:47, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
Capitalisation
[edit]Why is republicanism capitalised in the title? Irish republicanism uses a small r. Gob Lofa (talk) 15:56, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
