Notable in her own right?

Yes, she had an obituary in the NYT but it doesn't say much other than that she was SO's wife and partner WP:NOTINHERITED. This article doesn't say much at all and it seems there isn't much more to say? Would it better covering Iris by redirecting to the article Stanford R. Ovshinsky.
