Contested deletion

[edit]

Irina Stolyarova (Russian: Ирина Столярова; born 14.02.1966 in Moscow) is an art collector, the art of non-conformity expert, art director of Flying in the Wake of Light collection. Her collection is very important for Russian art history.

I removed my Speedy Deletion nomination, but the article looks like original research without neutral tone. I advise you to move the article to Draft Space, work on it and then submit thru Article for Creation process. Otherwise, I will have to initiate a deletion discussion to invite other editors opinion. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 12:57, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

She may be, but this need to be confirmed by verified sources. Please, see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources and Wikipedia:Independent sources. As for now, I searched for information both on Russian and English and didn't find anything. Also, the language of the article is very suspicious and absolutely not encyclopedical. For example, statements like " with a Russia that had swapped the old ruling junta for a new one" does not belong to encyclopedia. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 12:14, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I removed Speedy Deletion, but as for now articles does have a lot of issues, first as I mentioned tone of the article is not neutral and looks like original research. CV is not required for writing an article, but maintaining the encyclopedic tone is essential. I advice you to move the article to Draft Space and then submit thru Articles for Creation. If not, I will need to initiate the discussion with other editors, basing on this. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 14:26, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
