This article currently seems like a coatrack for those who sympathize with the protesters in Iran. I will start to remove the POV and unencyclopedic content. PDCook (talk) 16:33, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- I've stubbed it down. PDCook (talk) 17:26, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
if there ever was a film piece that could decide and or construct the columns of a revolution and or support the ongoing protests of a nation to be heard and bloom to reach freedom , then, Iran zendan by Daryush Shokof has done just that. some one had to take that final brave step, and he has proven to be the most courageous spiritual force in the last 100 years in many layers of thoughts. advanced, and positive.
go Iran and get rid of mullahs for good. long live shokof. the unwanted hero is now most sought after. may your life be blessed . you gave us so much in so many years. we will overcome.islamic republic, just get lost. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.12.233.198 (talk) 00:44, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

- I have found lots of "material" about this topic on the internet, but I haven't yet found WP:Reliable sources. Such sources may be out there, but perhaps not in English, so I've posted a request at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Iran for someone to look at this article. Regards, PDCook (talk) 17:24, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
to whom it may concern; this is one film that can not be undermined regardless how many political powers would like to block or prevent it from screening. it is so powerfully done with such a clear uncmpromising dimensions that a whole nation of free lovoing Iranians are currently making it the most important historic , and political movie ever made by an Iranian and for the freedom and justice in Iran. Iran Zendan should be viewed by the whole world from Dictators in China, Russia, North Korea, and,........................... we just needed one brave and brilliant artist to show the realities. again an artist dared to open the eyes. shokof has done the world an incredible service. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.153.236.57 (talk) 12:23, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
9 minutes of a film that shocked the world and may just trigger enough courage to finally change the dicatorship in Iran . it just might have started a movement towards a revolution.see it to find out why.shokof is the one who dared to show the naked truth in a grand style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.191.39.145 (talk) 23:32, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
please, write to the e.mail of the production for information: www.iranzendan.com this seems to be a feature film and will have the first screening in New York in February, as we have the news from the production notes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.159.108.101 (talk) 10:07, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
- Clearly I am not going to write to anyone. The burden of proof is not on me. Please provide reliable sources that demonstrate the notability of this film. PDCook (talk) 15:09, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
every 10 years Daryush Shokof shocks the world with a work ahead of the time. this one does it again. his last was seven servants. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.88.119.102 (talk) 10:26, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Iran Zendan is a feature film at 75 minutes. this is a fact and you would see it in L.A. screenings on Feb. 17 2010,in UCLA —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.153.230.125 (talk) 14:54, 11 February 2010 (UTC) An IP user claims this is a feature film (70 min), but the YouTube and other ext links suggest it is a short film (9 min). I'm not sure which is correct. Clearly WP:Reliable sources are needed.PDCook (talk) 17:27, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
the film will be screened in New York city alongside the Heavens Taxi in February for the press and industry related matters. it is 65 minutes long and is therefore a feature film. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.153.236.57 (talk) 12:19, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

powerful
[edit]i saw this movie. a powerful and yes, absolutely a first time ever to have seen the realities of iran,s prisons and treatment of the political prisoners courageously. the film is a slight indication what really happens in iran,s prisons, but yet a one and only document that can show the world why this animal regime has to be destroyed. has to just be wiped off the earth for good. long live all shokofs of iran. shame on all the puupets such as kiarostamis who did nothing for over 30 years to bring about world awareness to such inhumane activities in such a once called a most civilized country on earth. shame on all who workd along with this regime. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.196.250.205 (talk) 12:40, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
the film
[edit]is anybody still trying to find out if this film exists and or how long it is and .....: here is a link;
70 minutes of a film that finally showed the real face of the regime in iran and rocked the shame off the faces of all thos directors who had all the possibilities and never even once dared to portray the facts. more shameful for all the world festivals to have never presented a film showing the true face of islamic republic of iran. now eat it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.226.41.245 (talk) 07:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
