Founding of ACS
[edit]The article states that Remsen founded the ACS and edited the associated journal JACS for 35 years, but there is no mention of this on either ACS.org or on JACS. JACS even has a historical list of editors and Remsen does not appear on it. Other than having two articles in the premier volume of JACS, there doesn't seem to be a editorial role of Remsen. JACS and ACS are the most prestigious chemical journals & societies in the world - a claim to have founded and edited both needs to be clearly sourced.130.233.213.199 (talk) 07:37, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- He founded ACJ, not ACS. He was editor till 1913, then ACJ merged with JACS in 1914.--PFHLai (talk) 23:45, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
