From the FA website:

The Charter Standard Scheme is best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

It appears that the Charter is a standard that's awarded, rather than won, aimed at youth teams, so not really relevant for a Senior club. I'll take it out of the article. Dancarney (talk) 08:32, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
