Speedy deletion proposal
[edit]In a curious turn of events, User:Thingg has tagged this page for Speedy deletion, in spite of the fact that the clearly presented references verify non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources, thus meeting the general notability guideline. It is more than a little absurd to delete an article on a verifiably notable topic on grounds of notability, but if User:Thingg finds the facts of the matter cryptic, we can add the line "The blog has been covered by Wired and The New York Times" to save readers the effort of glancing a few centimeters downward. ca.io9.com
[edit]Perhaps it's a server error, perhaps it's the launch of a Canadian version, but that's the address io9.com redirects me to right now (July 28 2008 3:36PM Eastern). Incorrent redirection error is all it finds. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.46.152.30 (talk) 19:36, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
What does the name "io9" mean? where does it come from? LordAmeth (talk) 23:04, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
Are you kidding me?
[edit]I don't know if this site used to be something else, but as it stands today: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:AuSCk2FY8YwJ:io9.com/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=u It's just a tumbler with ripped off content and movie PR pieces.
Who writes this crap. 108.23.206.179 (talk) 02:53, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
